The European Commission consulted stakeholders on its inception impact assessment on the revision of the Vertical Block Exemption Regulation which expires on May 31 2022.
AFEP members companies appreciate that the Commission wishes to adapt this text and clarify some of its provisions in view of markets transformations, particularly digital ones, and also the attention paid to selective distribution channels.
In particular, they support the integration of the most recent case law relating to online sales and the consideration of the objectives of the Green Deal.
