AFEP publishes its answer to the Commission’s consultation on its draft revision of its RDI state aid framework.
Companies deplore a lack of pragmatism in this revision of a strategic tool for future European competition and still find several red tapes in the Commission’s approach to non-EU geographic areas for which this type of tool contributes to boost their economies.
Companies are worried about the failure to take into account the financially heavy phase of prototypes and pilot projects and the very low calculation of indirect costs.
They also recommend that exchanges between them and the Commission be more realistic.
