AFEP responded to the Commission's consultation on a right to repair in order to support more sustainable consumption

Large French companies convey their strong support to the proposed regulation on the protection of UE and its Member States from economic coercion by third States.

AFEP responded to the European Commission’s consultation (“Have your say”) on a proposal for a regulation establishing a single access point to financial information. In its contribution, AFEP stresses the fact that ESAP should not generate additional costs for companies or increase their liability.

Review of the 1997 Notice on the definition of the relevant market for the purposes of Community competition law

Large French companies have welcomed the relaxation of trade tensions between the EU and the United States as well as the rebound in transatlantic cooperation that occurred in 2021, especially with the official launch of the Trade and Technology Council at the occasion of the Pittsburgh meeting last September. With a view to fueling bilateral discussions within the TTC working groups, French companies have listed their priorities on the basis of agreed roadmaps for each working group.

France will take over the EU Council presidency on 1st January 2022. AFEP is seizing this opportunity to put forward its priorities to “create conditions for companies’ recovery in a sustainable, competitive and attractive Europe”.
